  More pieces.

There are other things of course. The practical side of the job. How doing it does not require magic of any kind, you just do it. Which is unfair in a way. As is being a patient. It seems to alter people's personalities, they become helpless. Or rather the helplessness contained in every one of us comes to the surface. Recognising it and dealing with it is part of the job. Eventually it makes you see the patient in everyone. The helplessness. The tiny glimpse that tells you, given the right situation, everybody gets scared. There is so much of it.

I learned that capability is not something you're born with, it's something you acquire. Try and error mostly. Make the mistake and get it over with. After that it can only go up. And do not let criticism sway you from your destination. Take it as a reflection on your flaws. Use it to sharpen your abilities. Do not try to avoid it. Rather, make sure you meet it as soon as possible. What's behind you isn't before you.

Those are pretty much the thing I learned.
